Starwood’s President & CEO Visits The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management

Dubai, 19 March 2013: The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management (EAHM), one of the world’s leading hospitality business management schools and a part of the global luxury hotel company Jumeirah Group, was honoured to welcome President and CEO of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Mr. Frits van Paasschen on 4th March 2013.  

Mr. van Paasschen delivered a presentation on The Age of Great Change in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry.  He explained that the evolution of brands is about “reliability”, “personality”, “purpose” and “personalization”.  Mr. van Paasschen encouraged students to study hospitality in Dubai especially given the number of high quality developments in the region.  He left students of The Academy with inspirational words: “Read trend lines, not headlines”. President and CEO of Starwood Hotel and Resorts Worldwide Mr. Frits van Paasschen giving a presentation on “The Age of Great Change in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry” to students at The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management in Dubai.
