Jumeirah Media Iftar and “The Culture of Giving”
Dubai, 18 July 2013: Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, in collaboration with Qatar Airways, hosted its annual media Iftar last night under the theme “The Culture of Giving”.
The event was held in Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s Majlis Al Safinah ballroom. Each year, Jumeirah organises an Iftar during Ramadan in honour of the local media and to express gratitude and appreciation for their significant contribution towards the development of the hospitality industry.
This year the event was organised with the support of Social Bandage, a non-profit Emirati initiative that promotes social change and giving back to the community. SocialBandage brought special guests including young orphans and the elderly to enjoy the Iftar.
The night ended with a grand draw including 2 prizes of a 3 night stay in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in Spain and a 3 night stay in Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto in Rome. Both prizes were supported by round trip tickets to Spain and Italy provided by Qatar Airways.
The event was held in Majlis Al Safinah, Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Majlis Al Safinah offers a delightful blend of traditional design within a contemporary ambiance from sunset to 3am. It can accommodate up to 360 guests including 8 VIP Majlis areas, each seating up to 20 guests.
