Burj Al Arab 40th UAE National Day floral display
Dubai, 30 November 2011: Jumeirah, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, has announced plans to celebrate the 40th UAE National Day.
Camel rides, traditional pearl diving, Ayala dancing, puppet shows, henna painting, sewing and weaving demonstrations will form part of a programme of traditional activities taking place in Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts across Dubai. Other activities include cake displays, face painting, and showcase of traditional local dishes in the buffets.
A variety of unique National Day decorations, including the UAE’s longest flag in a hotel lobby and largest indoor fresh floral display, made up of 40,000 roses and 40,000 carnations, in the atrium of Burj Al Arab, will be on view. In addition, eight of Burj Al Arab’s Rolls Royce Phantoms will be decorated with UAE flags and adorned with 40th National Day logos.
Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts will also be offering various discounts on room rates:
- UAE Nationals and residents can enjoy 10% off the best available room rate across Dubai-based Jumeirah Hotels.
- UAE Nationals and residents can also enjoy a special UAE National Day 2-night package at Madinat Jumeirah from AED 4040* inclusive of breakfast, Wild Wadi waterpark access and complimentary lunch or dinner at 16 restaurants.
- In addition, Burj Al Arab offers UAE Nationals and residents an exclusive 40% off the best available room rate for 40 days between November 10 and December 20, 2011.
