The artwork in the main lobby features commissioned work that resulted from our inauguration of our Artist-in-Residence Program and a permanent exhibition of images of Central Park titled The Heart of Central Park: Images Of Central Park from 1858 to The Present. This exhibition was created in partnership with The Museum of The City of New York, Magnum Photos, and other community partners. 

At the center of our cultural programming is our Artist-in-Residence Program.  Now in its fourth year, we have invited artists such as Mark Innerst (painting), Atta Kim (photography), Paula Hayes (sculpture), and Eve Sussman and Simon Lee (film) to stay with us and create new work that is inspired by the remarkable Art Deco history and our glorious positioning at the foot of Central Park.
