Park Life

With hundreds of parks, gardens, heaths and commons, London is one the greenest capital cities on earth. During your stay, be sure to take a stroll through some of the city’s most popular recreational areas. Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel, Jumeirah Carlton Tower and Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living are all in close proximity to Hyde Park, one of the capital's eight Royal Parks. Look out for famous landmarks including the Serpentine Lake, Speakers' Corner and the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain or sample boating, cycling and tennis. Alternatively, explore Queen Mary's Gardens, the Open Air Theatre or London Zoo in Regent's Park. This place is also home to a number of music and food festivals throughout the summer. If you feel like venturing further afield try Hampstead Heath. With its acres of woodland, playing fields, swimming ponds and meadows, it has a more rural feel and is said to have been the inspiration for many literary works and films. When the temperature rises, people can be seen taking a dip in the Hampstead ponds or sharing a picnic with friends.
