La Dolce Vita
What could be more thrilling than staying on one of the most famous streets in the world?
Rome’s most exclusive street, Via Veneto, immortalised on film by Fellini’s acclaimed 1960’s classic, La Dolce Vita, is the pulsating hub of the city’s jet set. The birthplace of the infamous paparazzi trailing luminaries from Hepburn and Sinatra to Ekberg and Chanel, the area was the original playground of the rich and famous, the place to be seen during the ‘50s and 60’s.
Home to Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto, today, the street features luxurious hotels, high-end boutiques, gourmet restaurants and stylish bars, and is the frequent haunt of celebrities visiting the Italian capital. A spot of people watching, while sipping on an espresso at our Time Bar and Restaurant, is sure to deliver a glimpse of a favourite star strolling along the legendary tree-lined avenue.
