Parsley, cress, sorrel, chervil, borrage, salad burnet and chives; seven regional herbs finely chopped and tossed together with a dash of legend, a pinch of fable, sprinkled with tradition, delicately seasoned and served with élan.

With closely-guarded recipes handed down from generation to generation, the legendary Frankfurt Gruene Sosse or Green Sauce not only has its own monument in Oberrad but also a dedicated festival where experts face off with their own special version of this ubiquitous dish.

Naturally, our chefs at Jumeirah Frankfurt have their own unique take on the sauce, serving it as a pesto or a warm sauce, as an accompaniment to Max Klassiker Frankfurter Pasta or Baked free ranged egg from D.H.H at Max on One.
