Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah
We believe everyone should be treated as an individual and have created these unique experiences specially for you:
Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah, built to offer passengers on the fabled Orient Express a fitting end to their journey, has played host to legends including Sarah Bernhardt, Agatha Christie and King Edward VIII. Later, Greta Garbo and Alfred Hitchcock also stayed here. Today’s guests can explore the Ataturk Museum Room, named after the founder of modern Turkey and home to several of the Turkish hero’s priceless possessions.
Turkey’s first elevator was built in the hotel’s lobby over 120 years ago, and remains in use to this day. It provides a unique welcome to the hotel, and is accompanied by similar engineering marvels throughout the building.
Traditional high tea
The great English tradition of high tea first came to Turkey at the Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah. Naturally, it takes on an eastern flavour here, served on low tables in the sumptuous Kubbeli Saloon Tea Lounge and is accompanied by live music.
