Q. How do I become a member of MyJumeirah BETA?
A. Signing up for a MyJumeirah BETA account is a simple process, please click on the Join Now button located at the top of the page and follow the simple 3 step process to register yourself and begin your personalised MyJumeirah experience.

 

Q. Can Sirius Member access all of MY Jumeirah?
A.  Absolutely, Sirius members can access all the functionality of MY Jumeirah by logging as per normal. MY Jumeirah members can upgrade to the Sirius Rewards programme with one simple click on the Sirius tab.

 

Q. Why do you ask for my mobile number when registering?
A. We ask for your mobile number for restaurant reservation confirmation. When you make a restaurant reservation with Jumeirah.com, you will receive a personal confirmation by email or by SMS. In certain restaurants, you will also be contacted by the restaurant manager to reconfirm your reservation

Q. What can I do to make MyJumeirah even more useful for me?

A. As this is a BETA (testing) release your experience and feedback on MyJumeirah is highly appreciated and vital to ensure that MY Jumeirah is inspirational and useful to you. We would like you to tell us your experiences and what does / does not work so the MY Jumeirah experience continuously improves.

Reservations

Q. Can I book my room directly from MyJumeirah BETA?

A. You can book your hotel stay directly from anywhere on jumeirah.com or MY Jumeirah BETA using either the Quick Book widget on the homepage or through your personalize Itinerary Planner (link to booking page).  Your room is only reserved when you have provided the booking requirements and received a confirmation number & email. Once you have reserved, simply tick the option on the itinerary item to show reserved.

Q. Can I reserve a Jumeirah Restaurant through MyJumeirah BETA?

A. Yes, you can book a Jumeirah restaurant using the Itinerary Planner within MyJumeirah BETA. Simply drag the restaurant you wish to from your wishlist into the appropriate time slot within your Itinerary Planner and then click on the Book Now button.  Once booked; you will also have the option to cancel your reservation by deleting it from your planner.

Q. Will my restaurant reservation be confirmed?

A. Yes. Once you are registered you will receive a confirmation email, additionally it will appear in your itinerary plan. In high demand restaurants, you may also receive a call from the restaurant manager to reconfirm.

Q. Can Wild Wadi be booked through MyJumeirah BETA?

A. Unfortunately at present, we are unable to offer Wild Wadi booking services through MyJumeirah BETA.

Technical

Q. What is Silverlight and do I need to download it?

A. Silverlight allows us to offer you a rich, engaging an interactive user experience.  It has allowed us to create MyJumeirah BETA.

For you to enjoy the MyJumeirah experience you will need to download the Silverlight plug in available here www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/ (Jumeirah are not responsible for content on external sites)

Q.  What is BETA?

A. BETA is prototype software and is a stage of software development that encourages feedback from users in order to gain full insight into how useful the software is and if there are any bugs.  Users are encouraged to give feedback and offer ways of enhancing the software’s features before a full software release is planned.

MyJumeirah BETA has been released in this format as we want to ensure this development is something truly useful and engaging.  We expect you to find small bugs and see better ways of using the tool.  Therefore your feedback is of huge importance to us ; please explore and discover MyJumeirah BETA and make sure you pass on your valuable feedback.

Q. What is my wishlist?

A. Your wishlist is made up of restaurants, hotels, activities and events that catch your eye as you’re browsing through Jumeirah.com or the MyJumeirah Universe.  It is essentially your key to unlocking the full and exciting MyJumeirah experience.
 
Adding an item to your wishlist allows you to drag and drop it into your Itinerary Planner, where you can book hotel rooms, make restaurant reservations and plan your entire holiday right down to the smallest detail.

Your wishlist gives you the opportunity to create your dream vacation and allow us to make recommendations that are personalized to your tastes and desires.

Q.  How do I create a wishlist and how can I add items to it?

A. As you explore MyJumeirah BETA or Jumeirah.com you are given the opportunity to add any page that interests you to your wishlist.  Just click on the ‘add to wishlist’ button available on all pages.

Once you’ve added a few items to your wishlist, you’ll need to access it to take advantage of it. Simply go to the MY Jumeirah BETA section and log in to your MyJumeirah account or register as a new MyJumeirah member.  Once you’re logged in, your wish list will be available for you to browse and use from the MyJumeirah homepage as well as the Itinerary planner.

Q. How do the recommendations work?

A. The recommendations we offer you, are based on the areas of the site you have previously visited or added to your wishlist, along with the most popular route or products that other users have also visited.  The way you move through the site shows us the types of hotels and restaurants you’re interested in which in turn allows us to make recommendations to you that will hopefully be of interest. It

Q. How often are the currency rates updated?

A. The currency exchange widget is linked to a real time currency exchange and therefore is always up-to-date. Please see Jumeirah Terms & conditions

Q. How do I delete my account?
 
A. We really hope you don’t want to, however if you would like to delete your account please contact webmaster@jumeirah.com and we will ensure your account and details are removed from our database within 48 hours. Additionally, the next phase of development will include the ability to instantly delete your own account.

Q. How do I add widgets to MyJumeirah BETA?

A. When you log into MY Jumeirah BETA all the widgets we have available at present are shown automatically.  However you can manage which ones you would like to see by clicking on the Add Widget button positioned just above the weather widget.

 


MY Jumeirah Itinerary Planner


Q. How do I use the Itinerary planner to plan my vacation?
 
A. We have created the Itinerary Planner to help you manage and plan your Jumeirah holiday more effectively; giving you the time to enjoy your Jumeirah experience from the moment your holiday starts.


 The Itinerary Planner allows you to plan each and every day of your holiday by dragging and dropping items from your wishlist into the planner. Each item can be moved around into the appropriate time slot and reserved or booked according to your wishes. 


You can also drag and drop generic items into the planner based on activities and events that you might want to do outside of Jumeirah.
We encourage you to have a play with this section of the site and experience it for yourself. We’re very keen to understand how we can improve this area and what we can do to make it simpler to use.  What features and future enhancements can we make to give you a richer and more exciting MyJumeirah experience?


Q. Can I save my Itinerary and share it with my friends? 

A. As soon as you create your Itinerary and press save, it is automatically saved to your MyJumeirah account, allowing you access to it from wherever you log on in the world. 

 Forward to a friend functionality will be added as an enhancement in the future. In the meantime, share it with your friends by emailing a copy of your Itinerary to yourself and then forwarding it to your nearest and dearest.

Q. What is confirmed in MY Jumeirah Itinerary planner bookings?

A.  Currently you can only confirm Restaurant reservations. No credit card information is passed (or asked for) in this section of the site and all room reservations links will take you to the hotel booking pages.

Q. How do I cancel change a booking?

A. To cancel a restaurant reservation, please just delete the item from your Itinerary by opening it up and clicking on the delete button.  To modify a reservation please delete the original booking and re-book at the new time and date.

To cancel or modify your hotel booking, please visit the online booking page on Jumeirah.com and use the cancel or modify booking functionality available there.  Alternatively you can call our Central Reservations Office and make the required changes over the telephone


Q. Is my information secure?

A. Yes, all information stored in your account is secured by 128bit encryption
