Recognition

The reputation of an institution is built up over time and based on many different elements. At only ten years old, The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management is already becoming known internationally as a quality choice for higher education in hospitality and tourism.

We are fully accredited by The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the United Arab Emirates. However, our reputation for excellence in hospitality and tourism education is bolstered by reactions from outside the borders of the UAE too. The Academy is enriched by the scholarship of its faculty members, whose publications span the best journals in the field and are one reason why the Academy’s name is becoming widely known in the international hospitality and tourism community. Accreditations

The UAE Ministry's accreditation system conforms to international standards and credit programmes will be considered for transfer and progression by other institutions worldwide.

UK based higher education accreditation body, the Institute of Hospitality (IOH), is the global professional institute for promoting high standards within the hospitality industry.  The IOH conducts extensive research into best practices in the industry and its review of The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management's study programmes led to the awarding of the accreditation.

Australian based higher education accreditation body, The International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE) has reviewed the curriculum, staffing and facilities and determined that The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management has met international benchmarks.

The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management is hence accredited in the UAE, the UK and Australia.

Awards

Dubai Quality Appreciation Programme Award - United Arab Emirates
The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management has been awarded the highly prestigious Dubai Quality Appreciation Programme Award, in recognition of its commitment to quality and superior standards.  This is the only DQAP award given to an education institution in 2010 and it affirms The Academy’s commitment to delivering the best standards, while at the same time continually improving internal operations and educational provisions.
