Dr. Ivan Ninov, Assistant Dean
Dr. Ninov joined the Academy as an Assistant Professor in 2006 and was promoted to an Associate Professor level in 2008. In May 2010 Dr. Ninov assumed his present position as Assistant Dean.
Currently he teaches courses in Strategic Management, Quality Management and Tourism Management.
He has also developed and is in charge of the Academy’s Institutional Effectiveness Research Program’
The purpose of this program is to constantly monitor and rigorously research the academic activities at the school through a systematic process of stakeholder feedback, which is used in the continuous quality improvement of the academic programs.
Dr. Ninov earned his Doctorate degree in Hospitality Administration at Texas Tech University in 2005, where he was teaching food and beverage management courses, before joining the Academy. He holds a Master’s degree in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management from the same institution, and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Tourism Management from Sofia University in Bulgaria.
