What is TOEFL?
TOEFL stands for Test Of English as a Foreign Language.  It is administered to non-native speakers of English who wish to attend an English-speaking college or university.   Your English proficiency must be tested so that your likely success as a student can be measured.  TOEFL is a standardized test format that evaluates how well you understand and use English in an academic context.  It is administered and accepted worldwide.

*If you need to prepare for TOEFL, but your English is not yet at the appropriate level to enter the TOEFL preparation course, we can help you with that as well.  Please ask about our ongoing EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classes.  We offer all levels, including specialized Modules designed to help you acquire the skills needed to effectively enter a TOEFL preparation course.

We offer a range of different EFL/TOEFL preparation courses depending upon your level and needs.

Courses and levels

Six months  High Beginner through Advanced
Five months Intermediate Beginner through Advanced
Four months  Intermediate through Advanced
Three months High Intermediate through Advanced
One month TOEFL preparation


All EFL courses consist of 20 classroom hours plus a minimum of 10 supervised independent study hours per week. Your independent study is geared specifically towards your personal needs to maximise class performance, succeed in TOEFL the very first time you take it, and prepare you for the language demands that are part of any university curriculum taught in English.


The last month of each course is focused exclusively on TOEFL preparation, followed immediately by the TOEFL exam.
