Arabic Module I
This is a beginner’s level introduction to spoken Arabic.  Learn how to greet and say goodbye, ask for and give directions,  make introductions, say where you’re from, introduce your family members and friends, pronounce the names of nations and nationalities, and other helpful phrases for finding your way around an Arabic-speaking country.  We focus on Modern Standard Arabic in spoken, not classical form.  No knowledge of the Arabic alphabet is required at this level.  You will be taught pronunciation exercises and tricks to help you speak and be understood.  

Arabic Module II
This Module will introduce the Arabic alphabet and script.  Learn how to read and write Arabic.  You will learn basic Arabic grammar, structure and conjugation and learn how to write the names of foods, colours, numbers, symptoms and remedies, eids and travel terms.  You will also be given further instruction in oral communication. 

Arabic Module IV
You will be introduced to comparisons and superlatives and given further work with advanced grammar and sentence structure.  Learn how to make future plans and express your intentions.  There is further emphasis on possessives and an introduction to progressive tenses.  There will also be more focus on Arab society and Islamic principles so you understand the close interrelation between the language and the culture.
