Bachelor of Science (Honours) in International Hospitality Management

The International Hospitality Management programme is designed to emphasise the importance of operational management within the context of commercial realism. During the programme's four-years, students will spend time in Dubai and (optionally) Switzerland, and gain valuable real-life experience as interns in prestigious organisations the world over.

At all times, The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Managment staff monitors the progress of individual students. The programme ensures that students gain the business skill set that will provide them with 'fast start' capabilities, enabling them to effectively contribute to the managment of businesses from their first day of employment.

Complete this degree in just three years

The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management will introduce a new fast-track degree from September 2010. The new degree structure allows high performing students to complete their studies in just three years. This option offers significant savings of up to one year’s accommodation and living expenses, and allows graduates to enter the workforce one year earlier.

Students on the fast-track degree will take up to five full courses per trimester, thereby completing their degree in as little as three full years. Students on the fast-track degree will need to retain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or better (out of a possible 4.0).

Students who complete high school with grades that are in the top third of the average for their country will be enrolled directly onto the fast-track degree. Students who are enrolled on the normal degree and achieve a
GPA of at least 3.0 will have the opportunity to change to the fast-track degree.
