3. Hotel/Retail MISHWAR [Journey]. A programme targeted at new UAE National employees that focuses on critical workplace integration, adaptation and developmental milestones they may face in their new job/career. Part one covers navigating their way forward in their first 3 months on the job. Part two covers navigating their way forward to their first 6 months on the job. And part three covers navigating their way forward to celebrating their first anniversary on the job. Twice a month for 12 months new UAEN employees meet and are given a range of modules, tasks and assignments to keep them on a career track. The aim of the programme is to ensure a new UAE National employee’s integration and acclimatization is navigated in a systematic way. This in turn maximizes retention. Training provider EAHM.
4. Hotel/Retail MAWAHIB [Talent]. A comprehensive programme to assist managers, supervisors and team leaders to hire, integrate, develop, coach, mentor and retain UAEN talent in their specific business units. The aim of the programme is to inculcate a proactive/strategic “can do” Emiratisation mindset amongst all levels of management within a company so as to maximize UAE National employee integration, talent management and retention. It dovetails with MAHARAT/MEHNATY and MISHWAR programmes. Training provider EAHM.
5. Emiratisation MUDEER [Manager]. A programme to develop UAE Nationals working in various hotel/private sector Emiratisation coordinator, supervisory or management roles. The aim of the programme is to develop and empower UAENs working in the field of Emiratisation. It dovetails with MAHARAT/ MEHNATY, MISHWAR & MAWAHIB programmes. There will be follow-on modules covering HRM to give further developmental depth to the programme. Training provider EAHM.
The Centre also offers recruitment open days that source UAE national candidates for the private sector in association with the ENDP & TANMIA.
The three main challenges to Emiratisation facing the private sector are:
1. Sourcing and hiring UAE Nationals for private sector companies;
2. Integrating new UAE National employees within private sector companies;
3. Retaining UAE National employees over the long term.
To meet these challenges to Emiratisation, in addition to running the MAHARAT, MEHNATY, MISHWAR, MAWAHIB and MUDEER programmes, the Centre also provides the following Emiratisation consultancy services to the private sector:
• Emiratisation systems development for private sector companies;
• Customised Emiratisation consulting services for private sector companies;
• Coaching and mentoring UAE National workshops for non-UAE-national managers and supervisors in private sector companies;
• Personal success skills workshops, mentee and coachee workshops for UAE National employees in private sector companies.
