Asset Management

This one day course will introduce participants to the key considerations that senior managers take into account in determining the acquisition (disposal) and management of hotels as assets. These include major capital investments (valuations), synergy with brand standard and management contract or franchise agreements. This course will give participants a taste for the sorts of information that such decisions are based upon and an understanding of the criteria that are used in making such critical choices.
Learning Outcomes
As a result of partaking in this one day course, participants should be able to develop an understanding of the financial concepts that underpin the options for managing assets and the techniques that allow for the evaluation of managing those options.

- Financial Feasibility processes in assessing capital investments (WACC, Cash Flows, NPV and IRR)
