World class racing continued on the ‘Rowley Mile’ last weekend at the Champions' Meeting. Worth over £1million in prize money, the giants of the equine world bid for glory on Newmarket's historic turf. This year the Dewhurst Stakes race was sponsored by Jumeirah and took place on the highest class race day in Newmarket’s racing calendar, it was an event not to be missed!	12,000 racing enthusiasts attended this years Newmarket ‘Champions day’ meeting including HH Sheikh Hamdan.  During Jumeirah’s first year at Newmarket, invitations were extended to 35 of Jumeirah’s VIP guests including European Investors, Developers, Business Partners and valued guests.  In support of HH Sheikh Mohammed and Dubai, Jumeirah worked closely with Falcon & Associates, Darley Stud and Newmarket to ensure the success of this event.	Jumeirah Dewhurst Stakes is a Group 1 flat horse race in the United Kingdom open to two-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies. It was first run in 1875 and is now considered to be the most prestigious British two-year-old race.
