In the Kitchen with Rory McIlroy

On Monday, 22nd November 2010 our global ambassador Rory McIlroy hosted another Jumeirah day, this time in Dubai.  Rory was set to impress everyone with his culinary skills as he spent an hour at his favourite restaurant MJ’s Steakhouse at Al Qasr in the Madinat Jumeirah cooking with other golf Pros and the young golfing talents from Dubai.

Jumeirah Golf Challenge in Singapore

In partnership with American Express, Jumeirah invited 25 Centurion Members from American Express and Singapore clients to learn the best golfing techniques from Rory.  After the golf clinic, Rory played one hole with each group, hosted by Thatcher Brown, VP of Brand Strategy Jumeirah, Simon Kohn, Country Manager American Express and colleagues from Dubai and Asia.

2nd Jumeirah US Golf Challenge

Rory McIlroy, Jumeirah’s global ambassador hosted the second Jumeirah Golf Challenge in the US at Scarsdale Golf Club on Monday, 30th August 2010, which was organized by the US Jumeirah team. 18 business partners and clients of Jumeirah Group were invited to learn the best golfing techniques from Rory. After the golf clinic, Rory played two holes with each group that were hosted by Gerald Lawless, Executive Chairman of Jumeirah Group and Jumeirah colleagues from Dubai and the US.

Jumeirah Golf Challenge in UK

The Jumeirah Golf Challenge with Rory McIlroy took place at Walton Heath Golf Club in the UK on 28th June 2010.  A fantastic day of sunshine, great competitions and some challenging golf lessons from our very own Jumeirah Ambassador, Rory McIlroy:  'It was great to catch up with Clients I had met on previous golf days and also meet some new clients. The weather, the venue and the company as in everything Jumeirah do was pure class.'
