Applying for a visa

The processing time is subject to immigration working hours. Please allow a minimum of 3 - 4 working days excluding weekends (Fridays/Saturdays) and Public Holidays. Visas will be issued 5 - 7 days prior to date of arrival, unless requested earlier.

Tourist Visa

Cost: AED 400 (Dubai),  AED 650 (Abu Dhabi)
Validity: 30 days from the date of arrival
Extension: Can be extended for 30 days at an additional charge of AED 700 
Tourist Visa can be issued within 3 - 4 working days (excluding weekends and public holiday) depending on immigration department approval. It can only be applied for by a licensed hotel or a tourism agency and it is available for all nationalities.

Service Visa (applicable in Dubai only)

Cost: AED 530
Validity: 14 days from the date of arrival
Extension: the Service Visa is non-extendable 
Service Visa can be issued upon arrival.

Urgent Visa (applicable in Dubai only)

If an urgent visa is required, please contact the appropriate Jumeirah Hotel or Resort directly. Additional charges will apply for urgent applications.

Required Documents

The following documents are required to process visa applications:

• One visa application form for each guest requiring a visa, completed legibly and in full Visa Application Form  (PDF 156 Kb)
• Signed Terms and Conditions depending on the destination
  Dubai: Terms & Conditions (PDF 75 Kb) 
  Abu Dhabi:  Terms & Conditions (PDF 131 Kb)
• Individual, clear and valid colour copy of each passport (minimum validity of 6 months prior to arrival)
• Colour passport sized photograph of each applicant
• Fully completed, legible, and signed Credit Card Third Party Payment Sanction form (the signature on the Third Party Payment Sanction form must match the signature on the back of the credit card and passport of the credit cardholder.
• A clear photocopy of the credit card (both sides including cardholder signature)
• Colour photocopy of the credit card holder's passport
