The Tavern

The Tavern is the Bar/Lounge area as you enter South Gate, with idyllic views of Central Park and its horse-drawn carriages. Sit at the bar or lounge by the window taking in the views of the park’s changing seasons.

In the evening, South Gate becomes an urban tavern, with the play of candlelight and shadow on faceted mirrors, honey-colored marble, and ivory and espresso leather creating an atmosphere of sophistication and intimacy. Perfect for casual dining, or simply meeting friends after work.

Enjoy one of our very own cocktail selections, a glass of wine, or a bite from our bar menu starting at 2:00pm on weekdays and 3:30pm on weekends.
