Refurbishment Update 2011-2012

We are pleased to inform you of the current and planned refurbishment activities to-date:

Guest Rooms Upgrade

In line with Jumeirah Group’s ongoing commitment to transparent growth initiatives and the provision of exemplary services to our valued guests, we would like to inform guests of Jumeirah Beach Hotel that the refurbishment of 70 rooms in the north wing of hotel and some corridors is currently under way.

The hotel’s management team listened to guest feedback and designed the newly furnished rooms with the family in mind, incorporating luxurious, modern, comfortable, beach-inspired designs. Other features in the rooms include increased space in the bathroom with separate WC, double vanity, rain shower, 47 inch LCD TV, iPod docking station, complimentary wireless internet connection, a coffee machine, touch control panels, IP telephone systems, motion sensors for energy saving, LED lights, multi-socket auxiliary panel, motorised curtains, a sofa-bed in each room and a repositionable desk.

Works will cease for the Festive period on the 22nd of December until the 8th of January, and completion of this phase of the refurbishment programme is anticipated for the end of February 2012.

Please note that all other guest facilities such as the Restaurants, Conference Centre, main pools, Sinbad’s Kids Club, Pavilion Sports Centre and the Marina are unaffected and will remain open for business.

Every effort will be made to keep the disturbance from the renovations to a minimum, with the main work being carried out between the hours of 10am and 6pm.
