Shaun has a breadth of experience in Learning and Development and HR. Previous to his 7 years running his own company, Shaun was the Regional HR & LD Manager for Hilton. His early career was spent within the retail sector. Relevant training qualifications include: CTA, GTT & OTA, Assessor & Verifier qualifications D32, CIPD and Institute of Leadership & Management. Shaun is also NLP Certified Practitioner.
Course Overview
The Need for Personal Effectiveness
The effectiveness of any organisation depends on the effectiveness of everybody who works for the business. Each employee can, by the way they do their job, increase or decrease the effectiveness of their organisation.
By managing yourself effectively and professionally you can:
• Increase productivity
• Increase your own career prospects
This workshop looks at 2 key areas:
• Understanding your behavioural style
• Interacting with others through effective relationship building
Target Audience This course is suitable for anyone in a managerial role, from middle to senior management levels.
Course Objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will:
• Understand more about effective communication in a work environment, both the benefits and the process
• Understand the different working styles of others
• Know how to adapt personal behaviour to gain maximum benefit from interaction with others
• Have practised a range of assertiveness techniques including how to get to win-win situations
• Have examined the ways in which you can effectively manage relationships including:
o Influencing styles and skills
o Managing your boss
Course Material
The course fee includes everything required for the class work including notebooks, articles, note-paper and pencils.

The programme does not require any prerequisites.

A certificate will be issued upon completion.
