As a contrast between history and modernity, the Constellation was launched at the Palazzo Serbelloni – a striking Milanese neoclassical build in the heart of the Italian city. In attendance was several of Hollywood’s finest – Uma Thurman, Clive Owen and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to name a few.
To mark the occasion, Vertu commissioned Chinese architect Ma Yansong to create an installation. Designed with a meteor crash landing on earth in mind, a blaze of black metal speared upwards in the surrounding courtyard with dramatic effect. Embodying originality, durability, contemporary design and state-of-the-art technology, the installation reflected the core values of Constellation.
As did the craftsmanship. To ensure unparalleled quality, each individual Constellation handset is constructed by a single craftsman. With its high contrast multi touch sapphire crystal screen, chic stainless steel and leather handset, location aware clock and city guide (which is updated on arrival), and several personalised services, Constellation combines luxurious but understated aesthetics in line with 21st century technology.

In fact, many customers opt to use the service for their travel plans – from booking flights, to hotels and restaurants.
As Vertu Concierge continues to evolve and grow, new features are being introduced to Vertu handsets, among them the Concierge Live application, which allows a customer to track the progress of their request.
Vertu has an established network of contacts worldwide, an exclusive little black book if you will, of private members, lifestyle and business clubs. Club Access allows access to a particular club at least once a year (often more) on a complimentary basis for the customer and a guest. Vertu’s stringent (and updated) shortlist features only the elite, with entry to such establishments ordinarily requiring membership.
