Entertainment Permissions

Adding the extras like music and entertainment can make your group’s experience all the more memorable.  Madinat Jumeirah is pleased to be able to source for you a variety of entertainment opportunities from Jazz Quartets to Arabic Duos and Magicians to Jugglers.

As per the new DTCM regulations, all entertainment, except wedding and birthday celebrations must apply for entertainment permit.

Entertainment Permissions - DTCM

For any show or performance, we require the exact details of the performance, including, but not limited to the names of performers and participants.

All live performances require permits/permissions issued from the offices of the DTCM. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that these are in place. The Licensee has to submit the required documentation for this application no later than thirty (30) days prior to the first date of promotion or ticket sales of the event. Jumeirah - Madinat Jumeirah reserves the right to cancel the event if DTCM permissions are not in place, copies having been submitted to our offices.

Overview of the procedure:

As the event is taking place at Jumeirah - Madinat Jumeirah, the venue needs to apply for all permissions under the Jumeirah - Madinat Jumeirah license. Paperwork is processed at Conference & Incentives and sent through to our Jumeirah protocol department who deal with DTCM & CID directly.

The following documentation of all artists/performers details to be submitted to Madinat Jumeirah in the following format in order to process this application successfully:

  1. Clear and legible color photocopy of passport. Please note that some Arabic passports have issue and expiry date info on a separate page in passport. It is imperative that all passport copies submitted to Madinat Jumeirah are valid and clearly shown issue and expiry dates.
  2. One (1) original and current passport photograph with white background of each artist/performer.
  3. These are to be scanned at high resolution to CD in j-peg format only. Photoshop, tif and any other formats are unfortunately not accepted.

Jumeirah – Madinat Jumeirah will in turn format these to the guidelines set by DTCM and submit for review and approval.
